The Wheels Project has been awarded the QUEEN’S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE. It is an unbelievable honour and a wonderful endorsement of the groups’ work in this, our 40th anniversary year.
It will mean a great deal to our students, staff, trustees and partners who all play a huge part in helping us to achieve our goals and will serve as a tremendous testament to our supporters and funders, a number of whom have stood by us for many years, through thick and thin.
As ever, we rely on the generosity of others to keep the project going. However, none of us could have predicted the current pandemic we are all facing which is making it increasingly difficult to cover running costs with no income from referrers.
