Update - Term 1 2014

The term is now in full swing albeit with a few last minute changes!

Students from St Bernadette Catholic School are attending our Kick Start Karts course on Monday afternoons instead of students from BEC who we hope will be joining us next term instead.

We also have a new group of young people attending on Tuesday afternoons from Aspire in Bath.

RIchard and Jerry have reported that:

The 6 students from Orchard Academy have settled in well and enjoyed painting their karts yesterday.

The young people from St Bernadette's stripped their kart in record time yesterday afternoon and already have a good knowledge of mechanics.

The group from BANES Connecting Families, made up of adults and young people, started last week when they completed their induction/health and safety session. This evening they will be starting work on their karts.

The 8 from Chipping Sodbury School are working well and will be rubbing down and painting their karts tomorrow.

JW and AC are enjoying our new venture of working with mature students from Serenity House. They are finding them really good to work with and have had some interesting conversations/discussions.

The girls from The Meriton, on the Pre Driver Training course, began driving practice last week in the Wheels' dual controlled Ka and completing practice driving theory/hazard awareness tests in the classroom.

We are hoping to start a new course this Thursday afternoon for a small group of girls from the 222 Project.
