Emma from Bristol NW Foodbank - 13 February

On 13 February we welcomed Emma of Bristol NW Foodbank who came to talk to our group of students from South Glos W2L who are taking part in our CV Programme.   She gave them an insight into the work they do and their need for a vehicle to use as a mobile store to resource their new outlet at Hope Chapel in Hotwells as from the beginning of June.  It will also enable them to transport food between their outlets more efficiently and also enable them to offer a limited delivery service to the housebound and elderly. The students agreed they would like to support the Bristol NW Foodbank and will be gifting a Ford Transit 350, again donated to Wheels by Avon and Somerset Police, to them.

This CV Programme is being funded by the Henry Smith Charity.
