New Volunteer - Rachael!

We have a new volunteer at The Wheels Project - Rachael Glendinning.  Rachael contacted us to see if she could help out in any way and, after coming into Wheels for a chat with David, was asked if she would like to do some evaluation work.

So, this term she has spent time getting to know exactly how The Wheels Project operates in both the workshop and classroom and has also joined the students during their activity sessions at the karting centre.

Next term she will start carrying out short interviews with students from South Glos Work2Learn who will be progressing onto our Community Vehicle Programme after having completed our Kick Start Karts and Kick Start+ Servicing Programmes (some have also taken part in our British Schools Karting Championship Prep Programme).

The information she gathers will be used to produce an evaluation report on the impact of our courses on students and to show the 'distance travelled' by them.

A big thank you to Rachael for giving up her time for Wheels.
