Handover of of Ford Maverick to Avon Riding for the Disabled

On 30 January we were delighted to welcome to Wheels Tania from Avon Riding for the Disabled (www.avonridingcentre.org.uk), which is based in Henbury. She came in to meet the students from 'Studio Kids' who have chosen her charity to receive their 'community vehicle'.

Tania described the work they do at the Centre which is to provide horse riding tuition and therapy to adults and children with all kinds of disability.  They have a purpose built Centre based in 100 acres of pasture and woodland within Bristol.

The photo shows her being handed the keys to the Maverick which had been donated to Wheels by Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

This CV Programme had been funded by the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.
